U.Va. Welcomes High School Seniors Who #ReachHigher

On Friday, college-bound high school seniors – including many from the University of Virginia’s Class of 2019 – let their school colors fly on social media as part of the national #ReachHigher campaign.
 
The campaign, spearheaded by First Lady Michelle Obama, aimed to celebrate high school students who choose higher education with the same fervor that elite athletes are celebrated when they announce their college destinations.
 
Soon-to-be first-year students posted pictures of themselves in U.Va. gear, alums and current students welcomed them with open arms and University accounts posted welcome messages. Take a look:
